Grandma Breads

Linda Smith, one of six children, grew up in the small town of Grates Cove, Newfoundland and started baking bread at the age of nine when her mother was expecting her third child.  After moving to St. John’s and meeting and marrying her dream man (now husband of forty years!) in July 1975, she continued the tradition of baking bread for her family, making up to 42 loaves of bread a week when her children were still young.  Now a grandmother blessed with (soon-to-be) sixteen grandchildren, all in Yellowknife, Grandma’s still baking, and this summer?  She’s sharing.  Come on by!
